what are you ppl talking about waht did mark help with he helped to have innocent indians strip and beaten in GT it is scary the thought of 0ne of these ppl being president if this happen bye bye O beautiful GUYANA and when i say ppl i mean mark and the other one there they can never be obama all they want is to get power and that is all they care about when they get it what would they do they would do what they always do drag everything down i am not saying that the president is the best but he is doin some good i dont live in GT either y is that becaus as soon as u work and save and it shows they come and rob you and these are the ppl who MARK and what’s his face SUPPORT

Guyana is a land of promises ! Every political party has made promises and none have kept these promises . Many which emerged in the wake of 1991 elections have all fallen from grace . Last election , people gave the AFC 6 seats but the AFC has not really used this asset to build a grass roots movement . They seem to lack organization , structure , content and a strategy/plan . A few years ago when Barack Obama declared his intention to run against the Democratic party established contenders , then the Republican party , he had to build create his campaign team , structure , organization , message and a plan with good strategy . Agianst all the overwhelming odds he proved the impossible to be very possible and the improbable very probable . I remember being out on college and university campuses trying to get young americans to buy Obama and sell him to their relatives , family , friends and peers . Once the package was deilivered it took only 1 year before a national and international grass roots movement was spawned to back and support Obama . The word was out through emails , text messaging , online videos etc and before we knew it , hundreds of millions of dollars in campaign funds began to roll in . The old Guyanese saying of ‘ wan wan dutty does build dam ‘ was proven true and we had college kids contributing $10. per month , networking text messages and emails and joining Obama campaign cell groups on campus .
The fact AFC won an unprecedented 6 seats last election indicates that many Guyanese are fed up and willing to vote for change . What about those who want change but voted status quo ” FEAR ” but would have preferred to vote AFC but was not sufficiently convinced .What is the AFC doing about creating a grass roots movement ? Reaching across the length and breadth of the country to include grass root Guyanese into the AFC - Movement For Change ? If the AFC loses seats in the 2011 election they will die a natural death due to Dynamic Inaction . Is the leadership of the AFC really serious about bringing about the change they speak of , the change the people are wishing and hoping for ?
During the Obama campaign in the USA every members of his campaign was made to fell as though they were an integral part of the campaign . Registered members received daily emails , phone calls and text messages about the areas we needed to strengthen and build as well as small and big victories .

i so agree with you zaphurius when some one stay quiet about wrong things people walk all over you i am not saying what mark did in his pass was right but he stand up for others who couldnt and he is helping others wish if there were more to help the poor i am from guyana but i dont live there i just wish guyana can become a better place its too much going on there now
